Räumliche Bewegungsanalyse und Notation nach Laban/Bartenieff | Spatial Movement Analysis and Notation with Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies

Der Charakter einer Bewegung wird nach Laban/Bartenieff durch das Zusammenwirken der vier Bewegungskategorien: Körper, Antrieb (Dynamik), Form und Raum bestimmt.
Die Kernfrage des Vortrags ist, wie Gesten räumlich analysiert werden. Dazu wird zunächst die Raumlehre von Laban, die zur Orientierung verschiedene dreidimensionale Modelle verwendet, dargestellt. Das Vorgehen der Bewegungsanalyse, die räumlichen Symbole und verschiedenen Notationssysteme werden anhand praktischer Beispiele aufgezeigt.

Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies says that the character of a movement is defined by the combination of the four movement categories: Body, Effort (dynamics), Shape and Space.
The key question of the lecture is how gestures are analysed spatially. The spatial theory of Laban, which uses 3-dimenstional models for spatial orientation, will be shown “live”. The procedure of movement analysis, the spatial symbols and different notation systems will be demonstrated on the basis of practical examples.

Antja Kennedy
ist freischaffende Tanzpädagogin (Bachelor am Empire State College, New York) und Bewegungsanalytikerin (Zertifikat vom Laban/Bartenieff-Institut und Motus Humanus, USA). Gründungsmitglied der Tanzfabrik und zehnjährige Mitarbeit als Tänzerin, Pädagogin, Choreographin und Organisatorin. Gründungsmitglied des Europäischen Verbandes für Laban/Bartenieff-Bewegungsstudien und zehnjährige Vorstandstätigkeit. Seit 1990 Lehrerin und seit 1995 Direktorin der Zertifikatausbildung für Laban/Bartenieff-Bewegungsstudien. Seit 2000 Lehrerin bei IMPULS, Bremen in der Vollzeit- und Zusatzausbildung. Im SS 2003 war sie Gastprofessorin an der Universität Hamburg, Fachbereich Sportwissenschaft.

Antja Kennedy
is freelance dance teacher, Bachelors of Dance from Empire State college, New York, and Movement Analyst, with a certificate from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute (N.Y.) and Motus Humanus (USA). She is founder of the Tanzfabrik Berlin and was 10 years part of the collective as dancer, pedagogue, choreographer and organizer. She is founder of the European Association for Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies (EUROLAB) and 10 years in the executive committee. Since 1990 she teaches and since 1995 directs the EUROLAB Certificate Program in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies. Since 2000 she teaches at Impuls, Bremen in the full- and part-time programs. In the SS 2003 she was guest professor at the University Hamburg, sports department.
